Active Schools Athletics
On Thursday, our P4 and P5s took part in Active Schools Fun and athletics festival at Douglas sport centre, an Occasion which saw our team compete against Forthill and Claypotts primary school, the day itself was filled with some fantastic races from all schools, with St. Pius supporting each other in the team and individual races and giving each other lots of encouragement, Unfortunately, we just missed out on qualifying to the next round for the Regional finals, despite our P5 boys winning the last race of the event, and with some Individual wins from our P4 boys and girls, along with the throw of the day in the Javelin and Jump of the day coming from Arlo and Stephanie respectively. A big thank you to Active Schools for a well run event, and we look forward to the next event were we hope to go that one stage further!"
