The School Improvement Plan (SIP) builds on good practice and captures a combination of key strategic areas for improvement, as well as specific aspects of development that will deliver the National Improvement Framework: Achieving Excellence and Equity priorities.
School Improvement Report
The School Improvement Report (SIR) links closely to the SIP it gives details on priorities, progress and self-evaluation, which is guided by the National Improvement Framework and the Curriculum for Excellence. The SIR focuses on key areas like attainment, wellbeing and the 'four capacities' with regular reviews by staff, parents and inspectors the SIR aims to boost outcomes and tackle inequality.
