We are a Reading School

St Pius X Primary School is delighted to have achieved the Reading Schools Award, recognising our commitment to developing a strong reading culture across our school community. This award celebrates our pupils' love of reading and the opportunities we provide to encourage children to explore a wide range of books, share stories and develop a lifelong enjoyment of reading. Through engaging reading activities, pupil voice, book recommendations and opportunities to celebrate authors and stories, we aim to inspire every child to become a confident, enthusiastic reader. This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff, pupils and wider school community in making reading an important part of everyday life at St Pius X!

Well Done to Mrs Braid and her Reading Leaders!
